Volunteers Have Arrived!

This has been a really exciting month! The volunteers have started to arrive and come to Alaska to share the love of Jesus with both children and adults.  Some of the volunteers have never been to Alaska before and some of them have been coming for many years.   I was talking with a friend of mine in Anchorage this week and her family had invited her on a mission trip to Hong Kong.  She was telling me what a great experience it was and how she was planning on going back.  After going on this mission trip she told me that now I understand why some of the same people keep returning to the same community or village.  It is all about the relationships that you form with the people that you meet in these remote places.

This last week-end I met 7 teams at the airport as they arrive in Anchorage for their mission trip.  The communities that they will be serving in is:

Homer

Cooper Landing

Copper Center

Tetlin

Trapper Creek

Kodiak

Mc Grath

Here in South Central Alaska we finally got some summer this week.  It was still 75 degrees at 6:00 PM...it has been rainy and cool all month.  Really ready for some warm weather.

Please keep praying for all the servant events that we will be having yet this summer.  Prayer Works!!
